New ordinance for town planning in Madrid

June 29, the full City Council of Madrid approved the Ordinance establishing the scheme Control Management and Urban Planning Activities Licensing . This standard design a new management model that includes, as relevant aspect, the participation of collaborating institutions with the aim of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of service.

The new ordinance defines the role of these entities who will be responsible to verify and document the technical adequacy of each application, monitor the work and conduct regular monitoring of the activities included in its scope.

The Governing Council yesterday gave a further step in the development of the new rules, to approve an agreement that regulates the organization and operation of the Register of Collaborating Institutions in the planning permission Management.

This agreement provides the City continuous monitoring of the functions of the collaborating institutions accredited and licensed. It also allows the advertising data related to these entities, all with the ultimate aim of ensuring optimum service to citizens.

In recent months the city of Madrid has been progress in several areas to achieve full operation of the provisions of the new Ordinance. has designated the National Accreditation (ENAC) for the accreditation of the companies concerned, as a prerequisite for exercising this activity. It is intended to ensure objectivity, impartiality and independence of the collaborating with the City on a topic of such importance as this one.
