We reached an agreement to give permanent solution for the National Public Transport, but is not any solution. Is a solution based on region of interest of me and my people, and claims seeking compensation for all the money that was allocated to transantiago. Not acceptable to improve the standard of transport in Santiago, without compensating our region to have the same bus stops, pavements or subsidies and ultimately, quality of service to an issue as sensitive as it is transported.
The two major achievements for our region is that we have established a school fare subsidy, so that the State will be funded by the school passage for all students. This means that adults fail to pay a subsidy for school passage, and therefore are cheaper by 20 percent of the ticket and can not continue to increase, with the real burden which meant having to pay more, for students be transported for less.
The second is that all the money spent in Santiago, will have to invest now to improve the systems in our region. First paving, bus stops and transport, but where transport, go being solved, the remnants of these resources may be used for health or education, as the case and using a technical and not political.
With these silvers, today there is the possibility of building a commuter rail to Antofagasta, and seek ways to improve transport systems in Calama, providing greater transport subsidies, the result of this work has touched me lead.
